Flanking Structures to the G Zone Gold Deposit

June 4, 2009, - Vancouver - Golden Peaks Resources Ltd. (TSX: GL) (the "Company") is pleased to report that the potential of the G deposit has been expanded. As reported (May 7, 2009) high priority drill targets were identified in the G deposit. As well, two new structures have been identified which flank the G deposit to the southwest and northeast.

The new structures were identified by a CSAMT survey run over the G deposit (2 lines approximately 350 meters apart). Both structures are associated with the same strong conductive zones which extend to + 500 meters depth (CSAMT) on the G and T-11 deposit. The new structures have minimum lengths of 500 meters and have never been drilled. Both structures are high priority drill targets. The structural zone which hosts the G deposit and the two newly identified structures has a minimum width of 460 meters.

Gold mineralization has been intersected in the G deposit over a distance of approximately 700 meters (31 drill holes app. 4000 meters). The G deposit and its flanking structures are long, wide and deep (minimum 700 meters X 460 meters X 500 meters). All structures remain open along strike and at depth.

The Company believes a significant gold resource will be delineated at the G deposit and there is potential to discover additional gold deposits in this immediate area.
