| Scott G. Mr. Emerson has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Golden Peaks Resources Ltd. since 1993. Mr. Emerson gained significant notoriety as one of the early pioneers of the mining sector in Argentina, when mining was opened to foreign investment. Among his unique accomplishments, Mr. Emerson was personally responsible for negotiating a milestone joint venture on Golden Peaks' South American mining property with Mitsubishi Minerals, the mining arm of Mitsubishi Corporation. From 1985 to 1993 he worked in association with Ingot Management, a private venture capital firm focusing in the resource sector with more than CDN$50,000,000 in venture capital funds under management.
